Good afternoon, everyone.

My name is Irina Honda and I am the creator of the Buddyfilmfestival.  

Many people ask the question, how does this festival differ from many others? What is its mission and value to the world? And, why such a strange name?

I can answer these questions like this.

The Buddyfilmfestival arose under my request to the Universe. If you write a dialogue, it could sound like this.

- Dear esteemed Universe. I know what I need from you. Ah, give me feedback through the event, what do you need from me? What skills do I have that are valuable to you? How can I be useful to the world? Show me through people and events, dear universe, what is important to you now?

And, an amazing man came into my world, whose name is Vitaly Karyakin, and he is the founder, CEO of the ANO "Festival Plus", which organizes a number of film festivals in various regions of our country. And, having come to my reality, he found out that I wanted to make a film festival in 2021, but having made only a doll at that time, he offered me cooperation: to create a new film festival. Already mine, in fact, but, in partnership. 

When the Angels send professionals of this level to help the dream, I understand that I am on the right track. 

My request was heard!

Deadlines. Such a short time - something screamed in my head!

But. The decision is agreed, the goal is set: The Festival Buddyfilmfestival to be.

But, the goal is limited by time. 

We start in February.

Annual Film Festival from February 5-8. 

Why?

It was on February 8 that my husband - n.a.It was Viktor Proskurin's birthday in Russia. 

And, I dedicate this festival to him. That's why the name "Buddyfilmfestival". Everyone who knew Victor knew that he always signed SMS messages, books, and business cards in this way. 

To my phrase in 2021 that I want to call the festival "Buddyfilmfestival", people who know us immediately reacted like this: "Proskurin?!"

But, it is very important already for me. This is not a Proskurin festival. No. This is a festival dedicated to his memory.

This is a festival - a celebration of cinema. A celebration of conscious cinema. A celebration of people who create movies and love movies. 

The way Viktor Proskurin loved him. And, the way I love him, we.

As part of the film festival, we will show films by Viktor Alekseevich. We will hold meetings with the audience. I personally will do my best to ensure that the name and work of this Actor is in the memory of our country.

And, last questions. 

My value as the author of the festival?

How will it differ from others?

Nothing. This will be another amazing film festival, in which there will be absolute honesty, drive, awareness, responsibility for what you show through the language of cinema.

There will Be A Stream. 

There will be an association and a union of creativity.

There will be films about the Power of the Spirit, about the search for oneself both inside and outside, there will be films about personal growth, about self-identification.

And, no competition or comparison with anyone.

We are the "Buddyfilmfestival" neither better nor worse. 

It's just that "they" started earlier and "they" had great opportunities.

Now this time has come for me, as the creator and organizer of the film festival, and if you are imbued with this text - for you.
